Backstage Beauty:
Have a look at the beauty trends taken from Fall RTW 2011 Fashion Week and what the professionals have to say about it.
Chloe:
"FRECKLES! A smattering of freckles, “where the sun would hit”, by Charlotte Tilbury at ChloĆ©. Tilbury used MAC lip pencils in Cork andStone to dot them on one by one. She referenced Anita Pallenberg and music festivals, and the girls did have that free-spirited, slightly rock-chick look, especially with their cakey, jet black top-and-bottom lashes. Cloggy lashes: definitely a trend…will you toss away your eyelash combs?"
Marc Jacobs:
Francois Nars (NARS): "We’re doing 1970’s glam updated to a more modern version, but still taking all the codes from the 70’s, like no eyebrows, greasy, very lacquered eyes, with a twist of making it look a little more ‘today’/2010 by doing transparency in the skin—a little glow—and very matte lips."
Thanks Into the Gloss for the pics and info.

Proenza Schouler:
Diane Kendal (MAC): "The boys were influenced by the American West—sun, sand, Indian fabrics—and they wanted to keep that influence in the face. So we’re doing really warm skin tones, very blended, with eyebrows brushed out and slightly feathered. The eye is a taupe-y stone, blended out—I actually used a lip pencil, in Stone—and lips are toned down. This kind of bold, strong, ‘no makeup’ makeup look has definitely been a trend so far this season."

Behind the scenes: Young Aussiewood
We shot four up and coming australian actresses recently. What a treat! They were all so beautiful and fresh faced. This was such a relief from seasoned celebs who are a nightmare to deal with.
I took a few close ups of the jewels because they were so pretty. Gimme, gimme, gimme!

Gucci Fall RTW Backstage:
I love backstage shots and I love Gucci so naturally this post makes me happy.
I love the furs, the colours and the beauty direction. I wish my life was in such high end glossy glamour.
Meow for now

Vogue Paris
I have just started a new job so forgive me for being so far behind. I have only just seen Emmanuelle Alt's first vogue paris cover. Its not what i expected although still effortlessly cool. Emanuelle is the queen of leather pants and of dark and sophisticatd chic. I guess she nails whimsical boho too now right? No surprise there.
What do you think?

J'adore Jacquelyn Jablonski
I remember seeing Miss Jablonski first when she appeared in Russh in Jan/Feb 2010. The story was fantastic but I knew very little else about her.
Since then JJ has appeared on the runway for so many big names I simply had to enquire further. I love the below shoot for German Vogue:
Useless fact of the day: Did you know she is ranked number 21 on the Top 50 working models list on http://models.com/ ?
