I am so fascinated by Anita Pallenberg at the moment. Everyone needs an old school muse every now and again and right now Pallenberg has my vote.
Pallenberg was an actress, model and fashion designer who was born in 1944. This is a winning formula for style icon status in my opinion. Check her out.
Pallenberg was the lover of Keith Richards for years during the sixties and seventies. Apart from sharing a bed they also shared a mutual addiction to heroin, a major bummer but expected from that time. We will let that slide.
I love her because:
- She managed to woo some serious rock stars +10 points
- She was so beautiful and stylish +5 points
She was totally into black magic and witch craft like my pal Stevie + 7.5 points - Russian Roulette isn't funny but she had the balls to play it and i like that. (Note: Its not cool that someone got killed whilst playing with her. Oops! ) +5 points
- Pallenberg starred in Barbarella one of the coolest films ever (yes you heard me) +5 points
- She attended Central St Martins fashion school in London. The creme de la creme of fashion. Respect= +10 points.
- Finally, apparently according to tricky wiki she stills appears sporadically in public as a party DJ. This is hilare, isn't she like 66 years old? +10 points
Ding ding ding we have winner. I want Anita Pallenberg's life. (Minus that awkward Russian Roulette game and the heroin addiction.)
